Summary of Responsibility:
Tsugami America has been the exclusive source for Precision Tsugami CNC machine Tools in North America since 1978. We are seeking an organized and creative person to fill the role of Marketing & Event Specialist. This role will work closely with the Marketing Team to focus on the development and execution of marketing strategies to support business growth and strengthen the company’s presence, reinforcing the company as a leader in the markets they serve. Reporting to Marketing Manager, this role will assist in overseeing brand initiatives, events, and marketing resources while collaborating closely with internal teams, external partners, and distribution networks.
What You Will Contribute:
Strategically develop and execute marketing plans to achieve desired business goals
Prioritize and manage all brand activities
Work with MGI Marketing leader as well as all Tsugami distributor marketing personnel
Create strong partnerships with key management and personnel
Position and brand Tsugami America as leaders in the markets served
Proactively coordinate logistics for company trade shows and events
Creatively help make inroads into new markets and further develop existing ones
Work across all mediums of communication including digital, print, social media, online, public relations, etc.
Ensure frequent reviews of marketing plans and their results are conducted with business leaders
Set, monitor, and report metrics
Work with third party vendors as necessary to accomplish marketing and communications goals
Manage marketing budget
Create and maintain marketing materials and sales collateral including website, brochures, flyers, etc.
Develop, maintain, and analyze market knowledge to direct marketing campaigns
Work with distributor network and end-user customers to achieve objectives
Possess and maintain a basic knowledge of machine tool industry and product lines represented by the company

Qualifications and Competencies:
Bachelor’s Degree (Preferably in Business/Marketing); experience in a sales environment is a plus.
Excellent communication skills including verbal and written (grammar, spelling, general passion for writing)
Ability to interpret reports, statistics and trends
Highly-detail oriented, organized, and possess the ability to manage multiple priorities in a demanding environment with minimal supervision
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other business-related programs as necessary
Able to effectively communicate with all levels of management
Sense of urgency, high energy and passion
Some travel throughout the country, as needed
